Effects of digital media consumption on the physical and mental development of children and young people

This was the title of the impressive presentation by Prof. Dr. Dr. Manfred Spitzer, who demonstrated the drastic effects of digital media on brain development:

• Less creativity & imagination
• Higher risk of short-sightedness
• Fewer cognitive reserves against dementia

Over 300 interested people, including almost all of our trainees, not only accepted the invitation to Landgasthof Schmid last Monday, but also eagerly followed the expertise of the neuroscientist and psychiatrist and took home a wealth of knowledge.
