Strama-MPS receives “Supplier of the Year 2015”-award from Continental.

On the occasion of the "Supplier Day 2016" Strama-MPS Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG was rewarded with the "Supplier of the Year 2015"-award by the Continental Automative Group for its outstanding performance as supplier. The non-standard machine manufacturer from Straubing was distinguished as top supplier on the investment and engineering services sector. Strama-MPS's technological excellence, information policy, delivery performance, efficiency level as well as its response time and sales support received maximum and especially positive ratings.

Since 2008 - each year in early summer - the Continental Automotive Group has distinguished its best supplier for the automotive business. The motto of this year's event was "2016 - The Year of Supplier Quality", with a special focus on higher and partly new demands regarding quality and reliability. Each year the group identifies its best partners worldwide amongst 800 strategic suppliers on the basis of a comprehensive and methodical assessment and in accordance with preset criteria. The enterprises selected will be rated across the categories quality, technology, logistics as well as costs and purchasing conditions. Prizes are awarded in the following six areas: electronics, electromechanics, metal, plastic and rubber, investment and engineering services as well as division-specific solutions. From 800 selected suppliers only 13 enterprises received a distinction.

Strama-MPS and the Continental Automotive Group have been partners for almost 3.5 years; during this time Strama-MPS has, amongst others, been supplying the Continental Automotive Group with turbocharger assembly lines for the Czech Republic, China and Mexico, with e2e standard cells and calibrating cells for pressure sensors. We are really happy we were able to position ourselves amongst the 13 top partners worldwide; it shows that we are able to meet highest quality requirements at all times.
