When sport and sponsorship come together in a forward-looking project, great things happen and so the representatives and partners of the Straubing Spiders Football Academy recently met with Straubing's Lord Mayor Markus Pannermayr.
The SRS Academy is entering its second season and is building on an outstanding start that has already inspired over 1,000 children and young people aged 11 to 15 to take up the sport of American football.
With fun at the forefront, the SRS Academy pursues two goals under the motto "Future Spiders":
To get children aged 11 to 15 interested in the sport of American football in order to create a solid foundation for professional football in Straubing. In addition to the sporting aspect, the aim is to show the trainees of tomorrow the career prospects of the participating partner companies.
The SPONSOR DAYs serve as a platform for the company presentation. The date for the first partner event has already been set and has been well chosen for tomorrow's home game of the new 2024 GFL season. At 10 a.m., the children will be given an insight into the Ostermaier car dealership, followed by a tour of the Strama-MPS training workshop, before heading to the Spiderdome in the afternoon to cheer on the Straubing Spiders against the ifm Razorbacks Ravensburg.
Everyone involved in the Straubing Spiders Academy is looking forward to working together in 2024 to drive the project forward and make a lasting contribution to the promotion of sport and the professional orientation of young people in Straubing.
