Inside training: project work

“Development of an electromechanical joining system” is the topic of our dual student Julian’s master’s thesis. As part of his thesis, a prototype of this system will soon be manufactured.

To create this test setup, Julian consulted our own training workshop with our training manager, Erwin Berger - in a kick-off meeting, the design of the prototype was discussed with the trainees involved.

There was intensive discussion about whether and how the individual components could be manufactured in the training workshop. In a constructive exchange with the designer, Tobias, and the trainees, improvements were developed and responsibilities were determined: The trainees Florian, Tim and Jonas produce the production parts for the prototype.

Dual student Tobias is responsible for construction and Julian is responsible for system and software development.

A project with strong synergies for many sides, our trainees experience how such feasibility discussions work in everyday work and Julian is actively supported in his master's thesis.
