Inside apprenticeship: Theresa & Lena in Dublin

Recently, our two industrial clerk trainees Theresa and Lena took part in a three-week stay abroad in Dublin, Ireland, together with 23 trainees from other companies.

In cooperation with their vocational school and the Erasmus+ programme, our Strama-MPS enabled them to gain exciting and valuable experience abroad and, above all, insights into the working world of another country.

The programme included an English course in the first week to optimally prepare them for the subsequent two-week work placement.

Here they were able to apply everything they had learnt directly: Theresa completed her work placement at the Irish College of English, an English public school, and Lena at Kefron Ltd, an archive management company.

They also had time for leisure activities, exploring the sights of Dublin and visiting the famous Cliffs of Moher and the city of Galway on weekend excursions.
