Successful participation at the Worldskills

Congratulations Jakob & Fabian!

Our two mechatronics apprentices achieved an outstanding 2nd place at WorldSkills Germany!

Right at the first participation at the German Championship #RobotSystemsIntegration our #StramaTeam made it to the podium.

Our Head of Robotics, Thomas Guggeis, is mega proud: " Simply great! It was three exciting days at FANUC Deutschland GmbH! In the end, the icing on the cake was Jakob & Fabian's fantastic 2nd place! As a newcomer, it is usually said that being there is everything, and that was also our goal, but the two of them really threw themselves into it and put in a very good performance under strong competition! Despite the competitive situation, it was great to experience how the teams, coaches and organizers came together within a very short time. Simply through interest in technology and enthusiasm for the future topic of robotics. A really enriching experience!

In the course of this, Jakob and Fabian received a letter of reference and a small gift for their successful participation.

Thomas and his colleague Jessica Anstadt, Robot Programmer, were presented with certificates as certified FANUC trainers. 

They are primarily responsible for the success at the Worldskills and offer both internal and external courses at the Strama Group as an official training partner of the FANUC Training Academy, where the handling of FANUC robots is taught.
