Mechanical engineering is only for boys? Quite the opposite!
That's exactly what Elisabeth (Sales & Marketing Manager - TU) and Kathrin (Project Manager - BU E-Mobility) presented to the girls of the Ursulinen Gymnasium Straubing yesterday.
Under the motto "Women in technical professions", they showed the diverse career opportunities for (young) women in our Strama Group at the career info fair using 10 examples.
Through the areas of sales, project management & leadership, construction, product design, layout planning, warehouse logistics and assembly, they introduced the women who have found their career path with us in these "male-dominated" jobs and passed on their experiences and tips to the girls interested in technology.
Afterwards, the schoolgirls were able to find out about the various training and career paths at our stand and ask for first-hand insights from our Maxi (electrical engineering student).
