Surround view camera

Surround view cameras which are installed in the front and rear of our cars as well as in the exterior mirrors are the first step towards autonomous driving. Sensor element

Ceramic sensor elements are integrated in lambda probes used for vehicles. Our conditioning and testing machines can be used to subject the workpieces to various testing processes during which electric function variables are measured at the sensor element. Voltages in a range of mV - µA are measured and evaluated during various multiple tests carried out one after the other. Additional tests are carried out under preset atmospheric conditions at operating temperature. After discharging from the testing stations the sensor elements pass through an electrolyte impregnation unit as well as a conveyor belt furnace. The lines feature a modular design thus allowing a step-by-step capacity extension.

Lambda sensor

For many automobile manufacturers the future lies with electric drive systems. In the years to come the internal combustion engine will nevertheless play an important role, even though it will be combined with an electric motor in form of a hybrid powertrain. This is why automobile manufacturers will continue to invest in production lines for internal combustion engines. The lambda probe is one of the key components of the gas engine. For many years our customers have been relying on our assembly and testing machines with pre- and final assembly for lambda probes. Changeover is carried out automatically thanks to a connection of the machine to the master computer. The individual components are fed to the machine and sorted automatically; they are then assembled in pressing and joining stations with process monitoring. Consumption data measuring and recording, semi-automatic measuring and testing routines as well as a fully automatic final inspection are additional highlights of our machines.

Pressure sensor

Today all kinds of pressure sensors are used in most of the systems in our cars, e.g. in the intake system or the brake system. Our calibration systems subject these sensors to various quality tests both under room temperature as well as after heating them under high temperature before calibrating them.  Calibration is done in several stations where the components are electrically and pneumatically contacted and where the sensors are subjected to a controlled pressure.

This process is monitored by complex measuring systems.  Once the calibration has been successfully completed, a marking laser applies a DMC to the component and it will be discharged as good part.

Control units

Control units in vehicles are becoming increasingly important. Autonomous driving is one of THE projects of the future - which means that the number of built-in control units will continue to increase constantly. Amongst others, the following standard processes are required for the assembly of control units:

  • Press-fitting (force-path monitored with puncture test)
  • Pin-check by means of image-processing
  • Welding
  • Leakage testing
  • Connect for EOL and other function checks
  • Laser marking

Each machine or line is different with regard to its system performance and complexity as well as with regard to the demands on technology and safety engineering. This is why a multitude of controllers is required in order to allow us to develop the one and perfect control solution for each of your applications. The modular design of our assembly and testing machine allows for it to be easily and quickly extended so that we can ensure maximum flexibility as required by our customers. The machine allows you to produce more than 50 different component types. Loading and unloading of parts is done fully automatically. The assembly and testing machine combines a multitude of processes such as blank separation, laser marking, HV check, EOL check and inline check at an accuracy of 100%. With our easily exchangeable test adapters which feature more than 100 test channels we are able to offer another special highlight to our customers.



Navigation system

The use of entertainment, information and communication systems in vehicles gains more importance every day and the products concerned are subject to a rapid development.  Our assembly and testing machines for navigation systems are well prepared for this development. The machines consist of several manual workstations as well as various automatic stations which are shunted to the main conveyor. New stations can easily and quickly be integrated. The machines allows for the handling of up to 100 component types.


The machine assembles gateways for the automotive industry. The gateway distributes data securely between all bus systems and the outer world. The gateway ensures safe data distribution required for the communication within the vehicle and also features a communication interface for connecting to the word outside. Due to the access to data, sensors and actors within the whole vehicle, the gateway is able to host the upcoming vehicle functions and connected services.
