“I am Head of IT & Digitalisation at STRAMAGROUP. I joined the company in April 2019 as part of my Master’s thesis and have been a permanent employee since October 2019 – initially as a project manager in the IT and digitalisation division. Since early 2022, I have been leading the entire IT department at STRAMAGROUP and am responsible for the IT structures and strategies across all sites.
My start here was actually a happy coincidence. Everything just fell into place at the right time. The perfect moment to take on responsibility.”

“I didn’t originally come from an IT background; I studied industrial engineering. IT was completely new territory for me, but that’s exactly what makes it exciting. I’m certainly not an IT expert myself – but I have a brilliant team who possess that expertise.
My role is to create the right conditions so that my team can focus on the technical aspects. The international collaboration is particularly motivating: our IT team works across all our sites. It’s great fun to coordinate this diversity and to further develop the structures of the STRAMAGROUP together.”
“The introduction of the ‘TISAX’ IT security certification was a truly mammoth project. At first, we had little idea of what was required, but we have now certified all our German sites and our site in Croatia. This year will see the recertification of the aforementioned sites, as well as the initial certification of our sites in China and Mexico. It is exciting to see how a project involving such a significant investment of effort becomes an established standard.
We are currently even looking into offering this certification service to other companies in the Americas – a great example of how internal projects can open up international opportunities.”
“Please create a ticket.”
A phrase you’ll often hear here… It sounds simple, but there’s a clear reason behind it:
“Many processes need to be documented, for example to meet various safety requirements and certifications. Furthermore, working on an ad-hoc basis via casual conversations, phone calls or Teams messages would no longer work given our size – we receive around 70 tickets a day. This is the only way to ensure standards are met and to guarantee long-term collaboration with customers – that is, our colleagues from other departments.”
“I enjoy going to work every day. I value my colleagues from all departments, my managers and the exciting tasks we undertake internally, as well as those that arise externally for STRAMAGROUP. We play an important role in the mechanical engineering sector – and I’m proud of that. I’m delighted to be part of STRAMAGROUP!”
