Personal insights into the daily work and role of our HR Business Partner

Since when have you been part of STRAMAGROUP?

"I have been part of STRAMAGROUP for almost nine years. I started with my apprenticeship as a European Management Assistant, which combines the apprenticeship as an Industrial Management Assistant with a qualification as a Foreign Language Correspondence Clerk in English and Spanish.

 

I originally come from Kassel. My father and my brother work at our subsidiary AuE, so I got to know STRAMAGROUP at an early stage. Through an internship at Strama-MPS, I experienced the company myself and consciously decided to move to Straubing for my apprenticeship. It is a decision I have never regretted.

 

After completing my apprenticeship, I initially worked in an assistant role and gradually took on more responsibilities. One particularly important milestone was building up the StramACADEMY together with my team, with a strong focus on employee development. Later, I moved into HR. Since 2024, I have been working as an HR Business Partner, and recruiting has also become part of my area of responsibility.

 

Alongside my job, I completed a part-time degree in Business Psychology and successfully earned my bachelor's degree. Looking back, STRAMAGROUP has given me exactly the opportunity to develop in the direction I had always hoped for."

What does your typical working day look like?

"There really isn't such a thing as a typical working day for me. Of course, I have meetings and plan my day, but in the morning I often don't know what the afternoon will bring.

 

At the moment, I spend a lot of time on organizational topics such as job descriptions, organizational charts, and supporting our restructuring process. At the same time, employee and leadership meetings, personnel development, onboarding, and advising managers and employees are all part of my daily work.

 

This variety is exactly what makes my job so exciting."

What makes your job especially exciting?

"The most exciting part of my job is the strategic aspect. Working together with managers to develop solutions, supporting employees throughout their professional journey, and actively shaping change is what I enjoy most.

At the same time, I really appreciate the flexibility I experience at STRAMAGROUP. As a mother, it is incredibly valuable to be able to balance family and career. I know I can always rely on my team and my manager. This understanding and mutual support make a huge difference for me.

 

I also work with many different departments - from recruiting and the works council to our international locations. This combination is what makes my job so varied."

Is there a project that stands out in your memory?

"One project I am especially proud of is the development of our internal Train the Trainer concept. Together with my team, we first completed the Train the Trainer qualification at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) and then developed our own concept.

 

Today, we are able to train and certify our internal trainers ourselves. It is a great example of how an idea can grow into a sustainable concept for the entire company."
