Strama-MPS acquires 30 % in Strama-NCT LLC

Strama-NCT LLC in Danville, IL (USA) was established early August 2014. As of 1 September 2014, the company becomes the sales and service subsidiary of the Strama-MPS Group for the US market. All employees and assets of the NCT Inc. are transferred into the company. Shareholders of Strama-NCT LLC are NCT Inc. and Strama-MPS U.S. Inc.

NCT Inc. was founded by Norbert Christ 12 year ago and has since that time become an important partner for various European machinery manufacturers in the sector machine installation and services. In the last few years, also special machines and equipment for customers in the automotive sector of the US market were developed and built.

As of 1 September 2014, Strama-NCT LLC will have 8 employees. Production and assembly shops with approx. 350 m² are available for assembly in Danville. Machines and equipment for metal-cutting manufacturing as well as for sheet metal working ensure quick response times and short lead times. An expansion of the company as complete solution provider for the special machine construction sector with approx. 30 employees is planned in the medium term.

The plans also envisage establishing a subsidiary in South Carolina (near Greenville).
