Strama-MPS establishes a subsidiary in Taicang
With a machinery of first-class equipment and providing a space of 3.800 m², 2.300 m² of it assembly/production area, Strama-MPS now offer to their Chinese customers from the industries solar technology, electrical engineering, automotive manufacturers and suppliers their sophisticated and broad product range from the divisions Axle assembly, Assembly and testing technology, Solar technology, FZG test rigs, Cleaning technology as well as Jig & fixture making also locally in China.

A forward-looking company does not rely on their past achievements but keeps on moving to find solutions for the challenges of tomorrow - if need be, also on the other side of the globe. In the past years Strama-MPS have increasingly strengthened their position as global supplier for special machinery and equipment. More than 580 permanent employees are always working at three locations in Straubing, in Kassel, Croatia, in the United States and now China as well. And the upper limit is far from being reached! By establishing a subsidiary in Taicang, Strama-MPS is closer to their major customers in China providing them with the service to which they are accustomed at their location – safe and simple. This state-of-the art production site and the motivated Strama-MPS Team of currently 10 people will contribute to meet the growing needs of the Chinese customers and play a major role in the future business growth in China. Until mid of 2013 the number of employees is expected to increase to approx. 80 people.
The Taicang Location
Taicang situated in Jiangsu Province and in the north east bordering to the Shanghai Metropolis and therefore located in the Yangtze River Delta Economic Region has easy access to the main routes and an excellent traffic infrastructure. Today Taicang is the location of more than 150 companies from Germany and consequently also the largest concentration of German companies at a place in China. German companies from different industries set up in Taicang by now. Machine builders, automotive suppliers and building material manufacturers as well as service providers. Many of them are small and medium-sized enterprises taking special advantage from the productive and pro-German area.
