Four-square gear test rig for fatigue and strength testing

Description

This gearbox test rig is designed according to the principle of the power circuit. It consists of two test gearboxes being interconnected with two shaft systems. An automatic hydraulic load clutch generating the load torque is installed into one of the shaft systems. The load torque is continuously measured by means of a torque measuring shaft and can be displayed on the screen of the control system. The torque measuring shaft is also used as actual value sensor regulating the load torque to the set value. The maximum load torque in the load circuit is ±6,000 Nm. The hydraulic load clutch including the hydraulic system is connected with the test rig control so that the load torque can be changed automatically. The test rig is driven by a variable-speed asynchronous motor. The speed range is ±4,500 rpm.
