Cardan Shaft Test Rig

This test rig is designed according to the principle of the power circuit. It consists of two drive gearboxes which are connected with the cardan shafts. One shaft is provided with a hydraulic load clutch introducing the load torque to the power circuit. By a Poly V belt the load circuit is connected with the drive motor which thus is only to apply the occurring friction losses. The hydraulic load clutch, spindle units for setting of the steering and deflection angle as well as circulating air heating boxes are actuated by the test rig control system and are besides the speed freely programmable over time. The test rig is used for endurance testing of cardan shaft greases or joints.
