Induction replaces gluing technology

The newly developed contacting system ProMoBraze® allows connecting and interconnecting of the braze ribbons also in thin-film technology by means of the extremely economical induction brazing. During this process the brazing heads generate an alternating magnetic field which in turn heats the braze point selectively and connects both materials permanently. In addition to the decreasing material and process costs compared to the self-gluing technology a most significant factor is the high service life of the brazed connections on the product quality side.  

Flexible and solid processes

High throughput and 100% process reliability! On ProMoBraze® one to five ribbons are fed in parallel from a dispensing unit at the same time, cut to length and non-contact connected with up to ten brazing units. Following to this the correct position of the ribbons is checked by laser profile sensors, the parts feeding and discharge is made fully automatically. As with all facilities of Strama-MPS a maximum flexibility in family-of-parts machining is also standard for the ProMoBraze®. Switchover to different module types is made automatically.
