With ProMoCut® for an automotive supplier the Strama-MPS engineers have therefore drawn upon their modular kit of standardized components and adapted it to the specific requirements of the customer. 8 second cycle time, shortest possible retooling times as well as maximum flexibility at change of series were the specifications given to the team for a concept development.

This solution ensures highest precision: Multi-side as well as multi-spindle machining to minimize the number of stations, changing from 2-axis system to 3-axis system is unproblematic due to the standardized modular kit, zero point clamping system to change over components varying in size, complete machining without reclamping.
